Undergraduate Teaching
I will begin teaching at Queen's University in Fall 2022 and will be the instructor for a number of courses in the general theme of Climatology:
GPHY102 Physical Geography (w. Dr. C. Omelon) - Winter 2023
GPHY209 Weather and Climate - Fall 2022
GPHY371 Special Topics in Earth System Science (will focus on Microclimatology) - Winter 2023
GPHY891 Special Topics (focus on Micrometeorology) - Fall 2022
I have found undergraduates to be incredibly bright and motivated students. I strive to provide an inclusive environment for learning where students are supported to achieve to their abilities. I have an open-door policy for students to come and discuss problems that they are having with course material. I bring examples and experiences from my research into each of my courses so that students can see how 'the theory' meshes with 'the practice' in the real world.
I am excited to meet students at Queen's and hope to see you in one of my classes!

Past teaching at McGill:
I was honoured to be the 2019 winner of the Macdonald Campus Award for Teaching Excellence and a two-time nominee for the Principal's Prize in Teaching Excellence.
I was cross-appointed between the Department of Natural Resource Sciences in the Faculty of Agricultural and Environmental Science and the Department of Geography in the Faculty of Science. This meant that I taught courses on both of McGill's Campuses to students in almost every Faculty at McGill. I was the instructor for four undergraduate courses: ENVB301 Meteorology, NRSC221/GEOG221 Environment and Health, GEOG321 Climatic Environments and WILD475 Desert Ecology.
