Ian B. Strachan

Ian began his academic journey at the University of Toronto where he studied Physical Geography. He traveled down the 401 to Kingston where he earned MSc and PhD (in 2000) degrees at Queen's University. He went up the 416 to Ottawa, completing post-doctoral research at Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada. His journey next took him along the 417/A40 to McGill where he started in 2001. Ian became the first Associate Dean (Graduate Education) for the Faculty of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences in 2012.
